Dr. Garrison, a native of Greensboro, NC, obtained her medical degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her residency in general surgery at Pitt County Memorial Hospital (now Vidant Medical Center) and her residency in plastic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. In addition, she received a Masters degree in Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Garrison is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons
and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Garrison has served on the Board of Directors for multiple nonprofit organizations here in Greenville including Women for Women, Rocking Horse Ranch Therapeutic Riding Center, Greenville Museum of Art, and Literacy Volunteers of Pitt County. She is currently serving on the ECU Board of Visitors. She is an active, enthusiastic member of St. James United Methodist Church.
